Vintage Boogie mobile disco offers a ‘Retro’ music experience! I can play music from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s, though will try and cater for as many requests as are practically possible so if you have some favourite 90’s tracks (lots of good stuff about then as well!) or other choice of music from later please let us know.
I am vinyl and CD based, (no dropped laptops or lost / corrupt music files here!) and will regularly carry enough music to play for 7 days non- stop without hearing the same tune twice. Also we are not pre-programmed as is the modern trend with Laptop based DJ’s who have set up a play list in advance. This is not completely bad if you know what your audience like but in my experience reacting to the events on the dance floor in front of me cannot be pre-planned in the studio days before....
The VB Roadshow is ideally suited to an older, more mature (and perhaps discerning?) audience. I am not ‘X’ rated but playing the O’Jays, Detroit Spinners, and Edwin Starr to 18 year olds has proved a hard task.....
